E.D.S is a well established marine contractor.
We are underwater engineers, confined space
and marine pollution specialists and pride ourselves
on being able to offer the
technical base, resources and expertise to
provide a high quality, safety conscious and
cost effective service.
We are members of the Association of Diving
Contractors, approved contractors to the
Ministry of Defence, various Utility companies
and are members of Constructionline.
E.D.S has practical experience in all aspects
of marine engineering, whether it is from a boat
or on the seabed we cover all aspects of our
industry.
We offer a wide range of services not just
diving, but mechanical engineering facilities,
coded welders, explosive advice, marine and
civil engineering.
Our equipment register is extensive with
numerous underwater cameras, a highly
capable ROV, ultrasonic thickness monitors,
welding and burning equipment, various boats
and rescue craft.
We have also partnered up with a number of
specialist consultancies for cathodic protection,
structural or diving surveys and have no limits
to where we travel.
Equipment Hire
E.D.S. has a wide range of equipment available for hire, from boats to breathing apparatus.
We hire a large range of breathing apparatus from emergency escape sets, to rescue breathing apparatus, to single airline fed mask, as well as gas monitors. We also have a range of breathing air compressors that can be used in conjunction with our breathing equipment.
We have a number of boats from inflatable tiller drive, to rigid jet drive boats; all available for hire with a competent crew and life jackets where required.
We have a large selection of tripods, winches, fall arrests and harnesses available for any circumstances.
EDS specialise in inspections and surveys and have numerous specialised surveying equipment such as a Remotely Operated Vehicle (R.O.V.), a Scubar underwater camera, and Sonde equipment for pinpoint accuracy on our inspections. All our specialist equipment is available with trained competent personnel where required.
